Online, People under all sorts of governments are able to promote their views and spread knowledge and awareness quicker than was possible before. This could, and has in the past, forced repressive regimes to make meaningful reforms. The ability to spread information quickly online has also helped local communities find missing persons and capture offenders of various crimes. |
